Rail Planning Services is proud to be an integral part of the Interstate Terminal project at Moorebank Intermodal Precinct in Western Sydney, providing project management services to Qube for the past 2 years.

Exciting times on the project with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese officially opening the Interstate Terminal last week.

The facility at Moorebank is Australia’s first major metropolitan independent interstate terminal and will manage up to 500,000 twenty-foot containers annually. Each of the 1,800 metre trains the Interstate Terminal can accommodate has the potential to remove 100 B-Doubles from Australia’s roads, easing traffic congestion.
