Rail Planning Services had a great time at the Permanent Way Institution – Queensland AGM/ Awards Dinner during the week. The room was filled with 150 happy people, which is a good sign of confidence and relevance of the PWI in the transport industry.

The keynote speaker, the Hon. Gary Hardgrave, challenged those in the room to recognise the IDD issue at hand (Imagination Deficit Disorder) whereby the new approach was to play safe, stop dreaming and keep our goals short term. Gary had researched both the evolution of the Queensland rail system as well as the benefits of thinking into the future. He was very engaging and had most in the room nodding in agreement.

Congratulations to all the award winners. PWI QLD recognised it is important to celebrate wins along the way and encourage others to have a go.
